This computer-based design system allows you to become fully involved in the design of your jewelry. Working with our design team you will create the design of your dreams. Don’t worry about disappointments. You will be able to see exactly what your new custom designed piece will look like before the project is completed. This is an excellent tool for designing wedding bands for that hard-to-fit engagement ring.

AGS Certified Appraisal Lab
The Harris Jeweler lab is completely equipped to handle on-site diamond buying, consulting and appraisals. It contains dark field illumination diamond scopes, master diamond color grading stones, color grading lamps, proportion grading scope, electronic diamond scales, ultraviolet units, refractometers, polariscope, computer-assisted appraisals and full spectrum photography. There are only thirty-one (31) AGS, American Gem Society, Certified Labs in the state of Ohio.

Design Studio
Harris Jeweler performs all types of jewelry repair and restoration work. We will give you an estimate while you’re in the store and all the work will be performed on our premises by our skilled repair technicians. Within a few days your work will be completed and your item will look like new again. If preferred, ask for our “Express Service” and we’ll repair it while you wait. All repairs include 12-Month warranty.

Diamond Light Performance Analyzer
This innovative tool of patented technology enables an objective evaluation and comparison of diamonds. With it, Harris Jeweler can let you see for yourself the true beauty of a diamond. This unrivaled instrument gives you, the potential buyer of a diamond, a “technical” eye to compare different diamonds much like a trained diamond professional could otherwise do.
Taking 180 photographic views of a diamond, this precision instrument will objectively evaluate the brilliance, scintillation and symmetry of any round brilliant diamond. In this way it will scan two stones consecutively and project their images and respective “scores” on a computer screen, truly giving you the beauty score of a diamond.

What is laser welding?
Simply stated, it is the ability to weld metals using amplified light as the source to produce the weld. The light is concentrated, adjusted and controlled by the jeweler in much the same way he would control the flame of a soldering torch, but with far more refined precision and accuracy. Because little heat is generated during the process, set stones remain undisturbed. A stronger weld is ultimately achieved.
What type of metals can be welded with the laser?
All the traditional metals can be laser welded, including base metals, Karat Gold, Sterling Silver, Titanium, Palladium and Platinum, offering a complete array of design, redesigns and repair options. Best of all, platinum, the rarest and most precious of the metals, and historically the most difficult to work with, is rendered much easier to use with this new technology.
